May is National Physiotherapy Month, May 4th is Pilates Day, and #TeamGPP Runners and Mountain Bikers are off to the races, and our Skiers finished the season strong.
Chelsea and Jean will be participating in every WOMAN™ in Whistler, BC May 24-26. Chelsea will be discussing physical activity and pregnancy, and Jean will be leading a mat pilates class. If you’re thinking of attending, and are looking for a place to stay, #GPPFriends can save $25 before May 10th at the Nita Lake Lodge if they mention GASTOWNPILATES.
Lina and Jean will now be taking clients as Physical Therapists! Their paperwork has come through and Canada will let them stay!

Adam was featured on CBC radio in a running interview.
In May, he will be competing at Transvulcania in the Cayman Islands, an 83 km trail race with 4,500m of elevation gain and 4,100m of loss across a series of volcanoes. See the 2012 footage, beautiful AND scary.
This summer, Adam is competing in many races around the world as part of the Sky Running Series.
Mark and Melina were featured in Episode 3 of “Running Vancouver”, a documentary as runners prepare for the BMO Half and Full Marathon in May.
Micayla headed to the Sea Otter Classic in California for the Dual Slalom and Downhill.
Congratulations to Mike Riddle who completed the 2013 FIS World-Cup Halfpipe Season with a World Cup win in Sierra Nevada, Spain, a provisional nomination to next year’s Canadian Olympic squad, and also took home the Crystal Globe as the top male halfpipe skier on the FIS circuit for 2013.
