Chelsea Emslie

Chelsea completed both her Master’s of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at the University of British Columbia. This was following a career on the Canadian World Cup Freestyle Mogul Ski team. In her practice, Chelsea uses a combination of manual therapy, education and focused exercise prescription to help her clients continue or return to the activities that bring them joy. This may mean getting back to participating in a sport, keeping up with a young, active family, or simply living life with more ease. She aims to work with her clients, not only to address their current goals and concerns, but also to foster lifelong wellness through preventative management.

Marina MacDougall

Marina completed her Masters in Physiotherapy at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario and is an active member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Global Health Division. Prior to her physiotherapy education, Marina completed a BSc. in Kinesiology with honours from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and was a certified personal trainer through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. Marina uses knowledge from her background in biomechanics and exercise prescription to help her patients learn functional movement patterns in order to relieve pain and return to the sports and activities they enjoy. She combines manual therapy and dry needling techniques to improve patients’ neuromuscular dysfunction. Marina has also taken post-graduate courses in vestibular and post-concussion assessment and management.

Autumn Crisafulli

Autumn completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and her Master of Physical Therapy from Western University, Canada With a keen interest in continuing education, Autumn has taken mat and reformer training in the Rehabilitation stream of STTOT Pilates (Spinal, Pelvic and Scapular Stabilization). She finds that integrating the principles of Pilates into physiotherapy allows for a fun, unique treatment and empowers her clients to become more aware of muscle activation and control. Autumn has also completed additional training in soft tissue release and IMS / dry needling. Autumn uses a mixture of manual therapy, Clinical Pilates, patient education, and specific exercise prescription to guide her clients to move better, feel better, and become their best self.

Smita Singh Kaliray

Before coming to Canada, Smita graduated from the University of Birmingham with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy and Management. She has also obtained her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology. She has since expanded her education through work in manual therapy, muscle energy techniques, mobilizations with movement, manipulation techniques, as well as training in medical acupuncture with the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in the United Kingdom. Smita’s approach to treatment include manual therapy and soft tissue techniques in conjunction with acupuncture for musculoskeletal conditions, coupled with patient engagement and education during treatment to enable recovery both in and outside the clinic.

Aaron Dobie

Aaron completed his bachelor’s of Kinesiology and master’s of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. Throughout his education, he worked as a Kinesiologist and Strength & Conditioning coach in the Vancouver area. As an elite mountain bike racer and sports enthusiast, Aaron focuses in sport and other orthopaedic injuries. He uses his training background as a key component of his treatment along with manual therapy and patient education. Aaron assesses and treats your current complaint but also teaches you how to stay injury free.

Jeannette Lim

Jeannette received her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia and Master’s in Science of Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta. In conjunction with her physiotherapy background, Jeannette uses Clinical Pilates training to offer proactive exercise rehabilitation alternatives to her clients. Through assessment and client engagement, Jeannette looks to teach proper techniques to prevent injury and help clients achieve their goals.

Derek Fletcher

Derek graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Master of Physical Therapy after completing a Bachelor degree in Kinesiology from the University of Fraser Valley. With a keen interest in continuing education Derek has completed study in advanced manual therapy and manipulation techniques, dry needling, active release, mobilization with movement and concussion management. Derek believes in treating the underlying cause to maximize function and minimize the risk of re-injury through manual release, dry needling and specific targeted exercises. Derek finds no greater joy than using his knowledge and skills to allow others to participate and excel in what they love.

Melina Mirzaei

Melina is a Registered Physiotherapist who completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia. Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, Melina worked at Gastown Physio & Pilates as a Kinesiologist and Pilates Instructor. She continues to incorporate Clinical Pilates into her practice on a regular basis. Melina spent two seasons working with a local rugby club, gaining experience both in on-field assistance and with ongoing injury management. She also received her Sports First Responder training during this time. She has pursued further post-graduate training in Pelvic Floor rehabilitation, which allows her to treat females with conditions such as incontinence, prolapse, and pelvic pain conditions. As an active person herself, Melina is keenly interested in helping clients in their rehabilitation through education, exercise, and encouraging bodily awareness to prevent injury. It is her continued curiosity regarding the human body that has caused Melina to pursue aiding others in their recovery process and journey to improved health and well being.

Christian Kubas

Christian received his Master’s of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia and his Bachelor’s of Kinesiology from the University of the Fraser Valley. His background includes several years as a certified personal trainer and Kinesiologist through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. His eclectic approach utilizes manual therapy, manipulation, dry needling, exercise and education to optimize and restore normal movement pain free. Christian is a Clinical Athlete Provider and works towards bridging the gap from a clinic rehab setting to high impact sport and gym environments. Christian is also a published lead author in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research.

Ayla Fletcher

Ayla completed her Bachelor’s Degree of Physiotherapy in Western Australia and is currently in the process of becoming a Canadian accredited Physiotherapist. Since completing her study, Ayla has worked clinically as a sports and musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates Instructor. Ayla takes a holistic approach to treatment incorporating Clinical Pilates, education and exercise to alleviate pain, improve function and enhance overall quality of life. During her sessions, she encourages clients to become an active part in their rehabilitation programs by providing the skills for clients to treat their existing injuries whilst laying down a foundation to prevent future injury and impairment. Ayla has worked with both semi- and professional sports teams in Western Australia managing player’s return-to-play programs. She enjoys treating chronic back pain, acute sports injuries and surgical prehab/rehab with the use of Pilates equipment. In her spare time Ayla enjoys being active and outdoors rock climbing, canoeing and hiking.

Naturopathic Physicians

Ron Reichert

Dr. Ron was the Staff Naturopathic Physician for 3 years at the prestigious Tzu Chi Institute for Complementary and Alternative Medicine at Vancouver General Hospital. In addition to operating a private practice dedicated to integrated medicine, he has also worked as an expert consultant in natural products and regulatory affairs to the dietary supplement industry. His primary medical focus is delivering integrative naturopathic medical approaches for a wide number of chronic conditions, including pain control and stress management.


Rebecca Boehm

Rebecca completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science and a Graduate Diploma in Exercise Physiology, both at the University of Western Australia. She has experience with on and off-field sporting injuries, pediatrics, hip and knee replacements, pre and post natal rehabilitation and chronic pain. She has a passion for Pilates rehabilitation, and enjoys combining traditional gym exercises with the Pilates repertoire. Having a background as a gymnast herself, she has worked through multiple injuries and understands the hard work required for proper rehabilitation. She is passionate about making sure that clients are getting the right care to return to their goals in a sustainable way, both physically and mentally. When she is not in the clinic, you can find Rebecca out hiking, biking and enjoying the beautiful outdoors that BC has to offer.
