1. Limit Number of Interactions

  • Therapists will work a maximum of ___ reduced shift(s) a week

  • Therapists will book a maximum of ___ patients a shift

  • Only ___ Therapists will be present in clinic at any time

  • Therapists will only have ONE patient in clinic at any time

  • Therapists will schedule their clients so that a Therapist’s patient will ALWAYS be socially distant from another Therapist’s patient (i.e. Therapist A will stagger their appointments to begin and end when Therapist B and their patient is contained away in a room)

  • Administrators will likely NOT be present, please expect to use online booking and payment portals

  • Virtual Physio Portal will continue to be available for assessment or follow-up. Physiotherapy exercise sessions will be provided online via this portal under the care of a Physiotherapist / Physiotherapy Aid

4. Clean Procedure - Clinic

  • Therapists will wear clothing that has been cleaned and not worn except in the clinic. Before leaving, these clothes are isolated until cleaned that day. These standards copy the protocol used in hospitals and medical clinics.

Please note that these are precautionary measures after having carefully considered the advice from our respective regulatory bodies, and the Provincial and Federal governments. Though no one is sick, we all have people that fall into the category of vulnerable population that we want to keep safe.
